We were in Powys 5.One bedroom lodge.Extremely well equipped. The kitchen had all we needed upon arrival (washing up liquid, cloths etc), plus satchets of coffee, tea bags etc.Cleanliness was spot on!Only one negative was the bed...it was queen size and we like king size or twin beds pushed together - comfort is important as we're in it for 7-8 hours each night. But everything else was excellent. The pool, gym and little bistro bar were good too.Kind, helpful staff - you had the lot - thank you.- David and Liz M
This site really is a hidden gem and we had a fantastic long weekend with the family there. The location is very rural and peaceful and the on-site facilities are great, with something for everyone. We travelled as a family group of 6 adults and 2 children and found that the Gwent 2 lodge was brilliantly suited to our needs - 3 double bedrooms and a king size sofa bed. The lodge is equipped to a very high standard (lots of stuff from M&S) and had everything that we needed. Now that we know of the place, we'll definitely be booking to come back in the near future. - Keith S
Staff are amazingly helpful and friendly.Pantglas Hall is very peaceful and very rural. So relaxing. On site amenities are good.Restaurant themed evenings.Food is good and very large portions.Cafe/bar very comfortable to eat and have a drink.Big thanks to Meryl for her local restaurant recommendation which was amazing. Thanks to the young lady in the bar who very kindly made a liquor coffee for my husband - she had not heard of it before but was happy to have a go, and it was a great success!Staff could not do enough and made it feel like were the only people they had to look after. - Diane S
